About Me
Nakia Boomer is a Maryland native who has over 10 years of sewing experience. She began her collegiate career at Kent State University studying fashion design. She later transferred to Stevenson University where she recieved her BS in Fashion Design with a minor in Art.
Her expertise in fashion design spans areas of patternmaking, draping, garment construction and fashion illustration. She is also skilled in the areas of surface/graphic design and fashion photography.
She has designed and constructed womens, mens and childrens wear throughout her career. However her ultimate goal is to start her own Bridal line.
